Quick and Easy Maintenance
MIRA Safety products use a universal set of parts and accessories that are interchangeable across masks, respirators, and interface devices unless they’re listed otherwise. That means the equipment can be used across multiple masks for maximum flexibility and rapid maintenance. Respirator valves, hoses, caps, and harnesses have roughly a 5 year shelf life and should be replaced accordingly.
Gas Mask & Respirators Accessories
A full-face air-purifying respirator (APR) is a two-part system: an EN 136 certified mask creates the facial seal, and an EN 14387 certified 40mm NATO threaded (EN 148-1) filter from the MIRA Safety® 40mm filter lineup cleans incoming air. Accessories address the four jobs the mask alone cannot do: they extend wear duration with powered airflow, add team communication, correct vision, and keep the respirator serviceable across years of storage and use. Unlike a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), an APR draws ambient air through media, so accessory selection has a direct effect on operator comfort and mission length across the full-face gas mask range.
