International Orders
COVID-19 UPDATE 12/20/20:
In order to get through the backlog of current orders, we are temporarily suspending shipments to countries which are not on the approved list below. If you would still like to order to hold your place in line for when this suspension is lifted, you can do so. Please note, however, that we are still analyzing the situation as it’s rapidly evolving, and it may take several months before we ship your products.
If you already ordered and cannot wait, please email support@mirasafety.com for a full refund.
We greatly appreciate your patience while we work through this difficult situation.

As a general rule, MIRA ships internationally to the countries listed below. Depending on the contents of your order, there may be restrictions due to customs laws. Should this apply to your order, MIRA will notify you via email.
US International Trade Laws Apply
US export legislation applies to all MIRA Safety shipments outside the US. Certain products may be subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) restrictions and require special licensing to export. Some products may not be legally exported at all. These restrictions will be clearly communicated to you if they apply to your order.
Restricted Items
Restrictions may arise on the following items listed on international orders:
- Respirators or respirator filters
- CBRN protective garments, decontamination equipment or dual-use items
- Bullet-resistant materials
- US-made Mil-Spec equipment
- Knives, blades and zombie weapons
- Other forms of weaponry
- Pepper spray canisters
- Any items that have combustible properties
Because of potential import restrictions by your government, please verify before ordering that the products will be allowed into your country. We recommend checking with the appropriate governmental department that deals with international trade, imports and customs issues. MIRA Safety is unable to take responsibility for such matters.
International Gifting
MIRA Safety advises customers wanting to gift products to recipients in other countries to verify with the appropriate governmental departments that no restrictions apply to the items you wish to send.
Denied Persons
MIRA Safety will not authorize the shipment of its products to any country or entity that is deemed to be a denied person by any US authoritative body. As such, please note that MIRA Safety does not ship to Cuba, North Korea, Sudan or Iran. Further, no re-export arrangements will be entered into regarding these countries.

MIRA Safety's international orders are shipped by either USPS, DHL, or UPS. In accordance with MIRA Safety’s terms and conditions, we will not be held responsible for any duties, taxes or fees imposed by government agencies. When your order is delivered, a customs broker will engage you regarding collection of any outstanding fees before delivery takes place.

MIRA Safety will comply with relevant legislation by stating the full value of your order (minus shipping) on the commercial invoice and any other paperwork submitted to customs.
Customs and Import Regulations
Clearance Delays
Should there be a clearance delay on your shipment, the MIRA team will assist you wherever possible to ensure on-time delivery. We will not, however, be liable for any costs or damages suffered as a result of such delays. It is imperative that customers contact their local customs offices to clarify regulations, restrictions, licensing requirements and import duty calculations pertaining to their MIRA order. This will avoid unexpected import duties, delayed delivery or outright order rejection by local authorities.
Hazardous Materials
Note that certain hazardous or regulated items cannot be shipped or require specialized shipping conditions. The MIRA Safety team will notify you via email or telephone in the event that any regulatory issues arise.
Refunds and Exchanges
MIRA Safety will issue a full refund for products that are returned to its facility in re-saleable condition. We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount by any additional fees related to the return of the product. MIRA Safety is not responsible for lost or damaged international orders. Should a customer's local customs reject an order and the cost of returning the product to MIRA's facilities exceeds the cost of the refund due, we will instruct the carrier to abandon the order and no refund will be given. MIRA will not be held responsible if an order is seized, destroyed or rejected by the customer's local customs.
Shipping Insurance
MIRA Safety has partnered with Route for shipping insurance. By default, this protection is added on the cart page. We highly recommend that you leave the insurance enabled to ensure coverage in case of loss, damage, or theft. If shipping insurance is disabled, we will do whatever we can to recoup the loss, but we will not be responsible in case no recovery is possible.
If shipping insurance is not added and the package is stolen, a police report is required in order for us to try to recoup your loss. The shipping carrier may decide to give you a partial payment, or no payment, and this is determined on a case by case basis by the shipping provider.
International Warranty Claims
For warranty claims on international orders, please contact the MIRA Customer Service team. We will ensure that your warranty claim is correctly completed and submitted. Shipping costs for returning items to the US for inspection or repair will be at the customer's expense. Such shipments may be exempt from VAT.
