--

MIRA Safety ships to 175 countries worldwide (see the complete list below). Depending on the contents of your order, there may be restrictions due to customs laws. Should this apply to your order, we will notify you via email before shipping. Below is a complete list of issues and considerations that may affect your international order.

US International Trade Laws Apply

US export legislation applies to all MIRA Safety international shipments. Certain products may be subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) restrictions and require special licensing to export. Some products may not be legally exported at all. These restrictions will be clearly communicated to you in advance of shipping if they apply to your order.

Restricted Items

Restrictions may prohibit shipping the following items internationally:

  • Respirators or respirator filters
  • CBRN protective garments, decontamination equipment or dual-use items
  • Bullet-resistant materials
  • US-made Mil-Spec equipment
  • Knives, blades, and zombie weapons
  • Other forms of weaponry
  • Pepper spray canisters
  • Any items that have combustible properties

Please independently verify any restrictions the government of your country may impose on the items you want to order to ensure the products will be allowed into your country. We recommend checking with the government department that deals with international trade, imports, and customs issues. MIRA Safety is unable to take responsibility for such matters.

International Gifting

MIRA Safety advises customers wanting to give products as gifts to recipients in other countries to verify with the appropriate governmental departments that no restrictions apply to the items you wish to send.

Denied Persons

MIRA Safety will not authorize the shipment of its products to any country or entity that is deemed to be a denied person by any US government agency. Please note that MIRA Safety does not ship to Cuba, North Korea, Sudan, Iran, China, or Hong Kong. Further, no re-export arrangements will be entered into regarding these countries.

For China and Hong Kong, we can make a shipping exception with proof of a valid import license from your local government.

Product Classification

Most MIRA Safety products fall under Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) 1A004. Products with this ECCN include gas masks, filters, gloves, boots, hazmat suits, and PAPRs. As part of this classification, these products are eligible for export to Group B countries (see below) without a license.

Body Armor Export

We do not export body armor as it is ITAR regulated.

International Order Process

Feel free to purchase products on our website, and we handle the rest. To ship internationally, we may have to contact you to inquire about the intended use of the products, to ensure that they will not be used for prohibited activities.

Orders from Countries Not Listed

If you would like to place an order from a country not listed above, we may be able to obtain a special license, on a case-by-case basis, with a $1000 minimum order. Please email us at support@mirasafety.com with details of your desired order and the country you want it shipped to, and we will respond as quickly as possible.

International Deliveries and Local Customs

MIRA Safety's international orders are shipped by either USPS, DHL, or UPS. In accordance with MIRA Safety's terms and conditions, we will not be held responsible for any duties, taxes or fees imposed by government agencies. When your order is delivered, a customs broker will engage you regarding collection of any outstanding fees before delivery takes place.

Order Value

MIRA Safety will comply with relevant legislation by stating the full value of your order (minus shipping) on the commercial invoice and any other paperwork submitted to customs.

Customs and Import Regulations

Clearance Delays

Should there be a clearance delay on your shipment, the MIRA team will assist you wherever possible to ensure on-time delivery. We will not, however, be liable for any costs or damages suffered as a result of such delays. It is imperative that customers contact their local customs offices to clarify regulations, restrictions, licensing requirements, and import duty calculations pertaining to their MIRA order. This will avoid unexpected import duties, delayed delivery, or outright order rejection by local authorities.

Hazardous Materials

Note that certain hazardous or regulated items cannot be shipped or may require specialized shipping conditions. The MIRA Safety team will notify you via email or telephone in the event that any regulatory issues arise.

Refunds and Exchanges

MIRA Safety is not responsible for lost or damaged international orders. Once an order ships, the sale is final and is no longer eligible for a return or refund. Should a customer's local customs reject an order and the cost of returning the product to MIRA's facilities exceeds the cost of the refund due, we will instruct the carrier to abandon the order and no refund will be given. MIRA will not be held responsible if an order is seized, destroyed, or rejected by the customer's local customs.

Shipping Insurance

MIRA Safety has partnered with Navidium for shipping protection. By default, this protection is added on the cart page. We highly recommend that international customers leave the insurance enabled to ensure coverage in case of loss, damage, or theft. If shipping protection is disabled, we will do whatever we can to recoup the loss, but we will not be responsible if no recovery is possible.

If shipping insurance is not added and the package is stolen, a police report is required in order for us to try to recoup your loss. The shipping carrier may decide to give you a partial payment, or no payment, and this is determined on a case by case basis by the shipping provider.

International Warranty Claims

For warranty claims on international orders, please contact the MIRA Customer Service team. We will ensure that your warranty claim is correctly completed and submitted. Shipping costs for returning items to the US for inspection or repair will be at the customer's expense. Such shipments may be exempt from VAT.
