This class-3 respirator provides superior protection against common workplace threats and toxic industrial chemicals, and lasting-comfort that makes it easy to use throughout your workday.

Technical Specifications of the CM-I01® Full-Face Respirator

Featuring a state-of-the-art design with a one-piece visor, the CM-I01® uses standard 40-mm gas mask cartridges to protect the user from various toxins, chemicals, or hazardous byproducts on the job site or at home. 

The visor is made from polycarbonate (with a special scratch-resistant coating) and the mask frame and oro-nasal cup are constructed from thermoplastic rubber. Connectors are polyamide (PA) and the harnesses made from EPDM.

Thanks to its unique design, the CM-I01® contours to fit a wide range of face shapes and sizes while retaining a perfect seal and protecting the user. 

The CM-I01® is a certified class 3 respirator, meaning it meets minimum standards for mechanical, heat, and flame resistance. End-user maintenance is minimal, with no tools required.

The CM-I01® comes with a 1-year warranty from MIRA Safety®.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The CM-I01® is designed for industrial/general use and is NOT a CBRN gas mask considering the face seal is not resistant to blister agents. This mask will work to block many CBRN agents when coupled with the appropriate filter, but considering the rubber, it is not intended to be a dedicated CBRN mask. Filters for the CM-I01® are sold separately.

STORAGE of CM-I01® of Full-Face Respirator

The CM-I01® Full-Face Respirator must be stored in a dark, cool, and dust-free place free from sudden temperature changes. The storage environment should be ventilated regularly. Temperatures may vary between 10°C and 50°C (-50°F to 122°F), with relative humidity up to 65%. Full-face respirators must not be stored where they will be exposed to radiant heat or sunshine. Fuels, solvents, lubricants, and other flammable substances, including chemicals, must not be stored with masks. Moreover, there must not be any electrical machines or appliances that produce sparks or discharges during operation (ozone creation).

Avoid deformation of the rubber parts of the facepiece and internal gas mask during storage.

  • Will this mask protect against tear gas?

    With the appropriate filter, yes, it will protect against tear gas. For filter options, we suggest the P-CAN or NBC-77 SOF for this application.

  • What is the main difference between this respirator and the CM-6M or 7M? Will this respirator work for CBRN threats?

    The CM-I01 is designed to be an affordable general purpose respirator, and there is no drinking system or speech diaphragm (like that on the 6M and 7M). As for threats, with the right filter installed, this mask will work for CBRN threats, minus blister agents like sulfur mustard (H,HD,HT), nitrogen mustard (HN-1, HN-2, HN-3), Lewisite (L), and halogenated oximes (CX). In order to protect against blister agents, the face seal should be made of a different type of rubber which is resistant to those threats.
