CBRN Gas Masks: Built for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Threats
A CBRN gas mask is a full-face respirator engineered to protect the wearer against the worst airborne contaminants on earth: chemical warfare agents like sarin, VX, and mustard gas; biological agents like anthrax and smallpox; radioactive isotopes such as cesium-137 and iodine-131; and the toxic industrial byproducts of a nuclear or chemical disaster. Unlike general-purpose respirators, CBRN-rated masks must pass the mustard droplet test, which verifies that the facepiece resists blistering agents without seal degradation. Every mask in this collection is built around a butyl or bromobutyl rubber facepiece, dual 40mm NATO filter ports, and certification to EN 136:1998 Class 3, the highest classification under the European full-face respirator standard.
