Does MIRA Safety manufacture all the equipment on the website?

We manufacture some of the equipment, but not all. For certain equipment, we act as exclusive distributors for the North American market. In some cases, we act as exclusive distributors for all retail sales of these products, as they are only otherwise available for professional or military use.

Does the equipment you sell have ITAR or EAR restrictions?

MIRA Safety-branded gas masks and personal protective equipment (PPE) fall under 1A004 of the Commerce Control List. As such, there are shipping restrictions to certain entities, persons, and governments.

Other equipment we sell outside of this category, currently or in the future, may have a different set of restrictions.

When you order from us directly, we only ship to countries that are allowed under these regulations. For more information, please review our International Shipping Policy.

If you are unsure and would like to send something as a gift to any country outside of the US, you should check with the Department of State or the Department of Commerce.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do. As mentioned above, certain restrictions apply.

Can I ship your products to friends and family overseas?

Yes you can, as long as there are no restrictions on sending those specific products to the country of choice. If you have any questions, please email us.

What type of equipment will you be releasing in the future?

We will be releasing a line of children's products, including gas masks and hazmat suits, pet products, and decontamination gear. Along with that, we are looking to release a few lower-cost PPE products for people looking for basic levels of protection as opposed to full CBRN capabilities.

Do I have to pay VAT if I order from outside the U.S?

Yes. All duties and taxes levied by the receiving country are the responsibility of the customer. We usually ship via USPS or DHL, and once the package arrives in your country, a customs broker will reach out to collect all necessary duties.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes, we do. If you would like to inquire about purchasing equipment in bulk, please email support@mirasafety.com. We have special rates available for businesses, government agencies, group buys, etc.
